Permits are required for the following:

New one or two family dwellings  $700

Act 211 was passed by the state legislature and it requires all new dwelling permits to be requested using a State electronic permit application.  Use the following link to connect to this process. After the application is filed, the permit fee is to be sent to the building inspector along with a copy of the building plan.  A copy of the HVAC ResCheck can be sent by the owner at this time or have your HVAC contractor send it to the building inspector.

What can I do if I do not want to use the State electronic application?
